What is due this week?

 Hello Everyone,

As this is an Art class, I have found a much better platform to share images and build community.

  https://mod42022.blogspot.com/

Everything you need for the class is linked from the blog.

Things to do in the first week:

-Join the blog by clicking inside the email blogger sent you on March 18th.  Follow the link.  Please use your name as your screen name so you get the proper credit for your work.  Only invited members of the blog can post or comment on the blog.

-Watch the short video, "How to Post to the Blog" It is easy!  If you have ever posted anything on Facebook, then you will find that posting to the blog is just as easy... but you have to join first!

-Download Photoshop from Adobe.com. You can either type Adobe into your browser or follow the link on the blog.

-Post a short biography and picture on the blog... tell us a little about yourself.

-Create a folder for your work on Google Drive.  Be sure you are signed in with your Albertus login.  Name the folder 2D Design, Mod 4 2022 (your name). Double click on the folder, then right click on it to share it with me using jnevins@albertus.edu

-Do project 1, "The Dot" Create 6 variations and put 2 or 3 on the blog.  Put all 6 in your Drive folder  Name each piece proj. 1-1, proj. 1-2, etc.  Use this convention for all of your work that way as you keep adding new work, they will remain in order in your folder. Instructions are in the syllabus and a video takes you through the project step by step.

-Watch the video tours of projects 1-7 Projects 1-7and also linked form the top of the syllabus.

The class meets Synchronously on Monday nights at 5:30 pm.  I invite everyone to join us on the first night to get a good start on the class.  Use this link: Advising and class meetings  The first meeting is this Monday, March 21.

-I take attendance for the asynchronous students every Monday morning at 9 am.  All work for the week is due by then.  For by Monday night synchronous students, I will take attendance as class starts at 5:30 and again on Monday Morning.

Looking forward to working with you!

Professor Nevins
